An Introduction
This blog has been created to do a couple things. To understand the first objective of this blog, you must understand me. I graduated from college in Spring of 2012 with a degree in Social Studies Education. The problem with this major is that employers have a library full of options and you have to be that book that is the exact style, length and even look that they are looking for. So what that means is, I am without a reliable job. In the meantime, I have applied to many schools, received a couple interviews, but in the end came up empty handed. However, this blog is not about that. This blog is about me staying active with history, while I bide my time substitute teaching. The second objective is to provide lessons on history and our government. But I want to focus on things that are often looked over in the American education system and the American media. I want to try and make this more fact based and not so much opinion based. With topics such as these, there is a fine line between Aristotle and Lucy Barker. Though I find many blogs to be narcissistic in nature, I assure you that I just want to educate the public and myself.
